Revenue Model

The revenue model refers to the Revenue aspect of the Business Model Canvas. When we see revenues just as money coming in, we mis the opportunity to innovate on the Revenue aspect of the BMC. On the revenue side you can use different revenue models. Nature is using the subscription model for their magazine, but you could also think about the pay per view model or an advertisement model. Other revenue models are the lease or hire model, part payment or pre-payment model, shared use model. In social business crowd souring, barter and pay it forward models. So there are many ways to create revenues when you use your imagination.

Your revenue model should be based on the needs and wants of your customers and their capacity to pay their bills and on your ability to raise working capital.
